Norris Lake is East Tennessee's clean-water lake, a TVA reservoir that winds for hundreds of miles of shoreline through the Cumberland foothills about an hour north of Knoxville. Much of the shore is undeveloped and TVA-protected, so the water stays clear and the coves stay quiet. It is the place for boating, fishing, and long days on the water.
